Looks like a nice score for anyone in the area. 80-100 cord to pick and choose from. Smaller stuff but it all burns.

Something like that would be amazing in my area given the lack of available hardwoods. But I imagine for you eastern folks this can't be that enticing? Looks like a lot of work for small pieces when there is likely larger more efficient wood just as easily available. Am I thinking about this the wrong way?

It may sound strange but there should be someone who should jump right onto that. Free is a good price and with winter coming on there will be someone who it could help out.

Well I see it’s about 6 months old. No idea why the time frame doesn’t show when viewing on FB, only after sharing it in a link.
We may have to create a sub forum just to post links to find out how old they are.

Yeah I like logs myself, less work for me and my setup. I’ve seen “hoarders” scrounging for firewood to be used that year bypass the dead and dry branches to muscle wet rounds into a trailer. Didn’t make much sense to me :)

Road trip Joe. We'll fill the trailer. No winch needed! :D

LOL if I’m not using the winch that means I’m using my hands, which are connected to my arms, which are connected to my back, which hasn’t been working so well this week. I’ll keep the winch thankyou :)

Hoping someone from the CT crew can grab that! Great opportunity if you are close.

Thanks Brad for the heads up!
I may respond to the add after I can do some cleanup around the yard. I should be all cleaned up in the next couple days. I made some new wood racks too so some new wood would be welcomed.

Way too far for me, but sure looks like there's some decent size wood there and the small stuff can be good too. Just more cutting. Mostly oak is a pretty good deal.
