Tell me about this saw. Local (meth) pawn shop has one in go condition. They let me start it and it seemed to have good compression. What experience do you have with one.

I my be wrong (has happened before)but I think this is the red version of the 455 rancher. I can get it for 150$ in very good shape. I've had a rancher and couldn't complain about it for the money.

Welcome to the forum! I saw this earlier and didn’t realize you just joined up. Unfortunately I don’t have any experience with Jreds. I’m thinking huskihl has used a few. Hopefully he’ll check in later.

I have two Jreds a little bigger than that but have no complaints at all and the oldest and most used is twelve years old now. $150 sounds like a good price to me
Keep in mind they aren't in business anymore but that doesn't bother me at all.

Yeah doesn't bother me that husky done away with them. If I get it and huskihl can fix it.

I think they’re a 455. Homeowner type saws. But they’ve cut a lot of wood. $150 seems ok if it runs good

Yep. I have a 2252 and a 2260 and almost all replacement parts have a Husky equivalent.

I'll probably pick it up at that price. It's in really nice shape. Be a good saw for a backup or loaner. Might get it for my wife for an anniversary present. lol
