Is this a clone of a common older Husky or stihl?

I’d say echo clone based on the toggle switch and styling.

The muffler deflector looks like the small Stihl, the brake in the clutch cover and 0.325x0.058 bar say Husqvarna, the plain toggle switch is an Echo thing. Sure is ugly, though.

I don't believe it's a clone of either husky or Stihl..... nor echo for that matter....
It might have some similarities on certain parts, but that's pretty typical with China stuff.

It looks similar to the 46 cc Remington, craftsman, Troy Bilt saws MTD has made in china. Plastic is more round. Cover over the muffler outlets.

That's a basic old Komatsu Zenoah based clone. Mag case saw, simple design, most copied saw there ever was.
