Thank God you're ok, trees can be dangerous and very unpredictable....I've seen many situations that can really make you respect and appreciate life!

As others have stated, make sure your files aren't too big when uploading pics. Send me a PM with some screenshots of what you have going on and I'll try to help ya....

lost my great grandfather to a wood cutting accident. Thanks to the Lord that I also didn't fall victim to cutting wood. I was dumb, dumb, and dumber when I started out. Can't even imagine how I ever felt safe doing what I did. I was much younger than you when I had my bad encounters. From that scare on, I hired my trees cut down. Saved my efforts to cutting them up. So happy for you and your family for surviving the incident and grateful to you for reminding us to be careful and work within our skills.

Good thing you still amongst us. These unfortunate accidents are tough on people and the family they leave. Take it easy and send us pics while you're resting.

You make a good point Larry, about how sometimes, it's a very wise move to have more experienced folks drop the tree for you (when possible)... and then you finish up what's on the ground. :saw: :yes::yes:

    Agreed

The combination of gravity and inertia/momentum, can be deadly.

Sorry guys. My phone went on the blink. I'm doing better and getting around pretty good. Wishing I was splitting wood . Seized my 261xs husky the other day, now it's back with him so I have that to look forward to. Sure hard to sit around and not do nothing. Appreciate yall praying and thinking about me.

Yes got x-rays they said one rib was cracked in 2 places and the one below it was to. But I think they were looking at old fractures because I don't feel like any bones are cracked. Now the muscles are damm sure sore
