I was thinking more along the lines of intentionally adding things to the water that the peasants would be reluctant to take.
Well in KC we ended up hitting a pothole while getting on I-435 and concentrating on traffic. Had the 2017 Grand Sport and ended up with a bent front wheel and back wheel is now leaking from a crack. I guess it is a known problem and GM just said F-word to owners. So now trying to find some replacements that only cost an arm and a leg, instead of both arms and legs. While still in KC I tried JB Weld while still on the car, but no luck. Thinking of trying something like flex seal. Just looking for a temporary hold until we can find something else. Crappy fancy cars.
Not yet but you never know. I have had both of those cars for better than 20 years now maybe even longer.
Had to go to home depot tonight. 1x8x6 maple plank. 90 bucks. I couldn't put a tool to that, I'd just have to hang it up as an ornament 3/4 inch 4x8 maple plywood is only 14 bucks more.
I'm getting my 81' Blazer back on Thursday after spend the summer at the mechanics (weird restoring repairs, not mechanical), I can't wait to start taking rumbles in it again!!!!!!!!!!
Today is our 53ed wedding anniversary. We have been home bodies since this virus thing, but today was special. So we went to a Seafood restaurant in Brunswick. We went during the mid afternoon when the place was near empty. We had a wonderful seafood dinner. Was on the pricey side, but felt we earned it. Topped it off with a nice cheese cake with strawberries. (we shared one serving, so big!) Wife drove. When we got home, I laid down for nap, but that ended up being 4 hrs. Rain moving in.
Larry and Mrs. savemoney, Happy Anniversary. You definitely earned going out and having a nice seafood dinner. Wishing you both another 53 years of happiness.
Got a message from my cable company last night - they've increased my download speed from 300 mbps to 400 mbps. I'll find out later today if it is noticeable for work stuff - although it's usually pretty good and I'm unsure if the few things that take a (relatively) long time is a download issue or a system issue from the work side. It won't have any affect in my personal usage.
