Had the pleasure to meet up with recent Connecticut FHC member theedge. He PMed and asked if i sold wood and wasnt too far so i dropped a half cord today to get him started. He had three cord on hand and topped the stacks with mine which he'll burn first.

His load. 2/3 barkless red maple and the balance mostly cherry. IMG_1879.JPG IMG_1880.JPG My load topped off this stack. IMG_1885.JPG The prior homeowner had done some chain saw carvings including this. IMG_1884.JPG Great to have met you and talk shop. Many thanks for the business.

Very nice to meet you in person today, and learning about the finer aspects of firewood and the process!
That was a great 1/2 cord of firewood delivered today, and we beat the rain!!
    Keep in touch.

Hello and welcome to the FHC.:handshake:

I do not. Im a small time wood seller and only service my immediate area. Besides i wouldnt be able to sell that much as most of my customers are "casual" burners and need the inventory on hand.

Thanks for your interest. I like your user name btw. :coffee: Lifetime coffee drinker here!

    Welcome Ed and 203coffeeman.
I've unlearned a lot I used to know hanging out here.
Hope your experience is similar here.

    Sirchopsalot.

Hey Sirchopsalot, fellow CT'er, and Wolverine!
Very good forum, seems like a lot of nice folks here with a bounty of knowledge and experience. I don't exactly remember how I came across this forum, but when I saw it I immediately joined up.
I see the oil prices are hovering around not so good numbers :-(
