Good morning everyone! Lots of yard work getting done at my place, two carloads of pine needles went to the dump. I found some skinny dry elm branches as a reward.
The bees are still buzzing around my flowering plants, so I haven't wanted to cut much back. PXL_20221023_113707079.PORTRAIT.jpg

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 1 more nite to work. 46° heading to 79° today. Got 2 more totes to put doors on, then start stacking oak splits in them. Trying to get about a year supply ahead for the restaurant. Nap time after lunch.
    Be a blessing.

    Good morning, members.

Mid-40's, overcast, showery. There were enough coals to reliant the woodcstove easily.

No yard work. I havean annual camping trip with the guys, in a couple of weeks. A good day to eyeball camping gear.

Coffee here in Southern Vermont. 51 degrees with expectations of rain.
Yesterday I went over to my wife’s salon and replaced a faucet with one of those fancy commercial hose with spring kind of faucets like in restraunt kitchens. Big ol stainless job.

Had to pull the 3 bay thing out in order to get behind it for the mounting nuts.
Fiddled with it a couple of hours, got it all back together and then had a persistent small drip. Retightened and retaped nearly everything on that assembly. Still drip.

Snagged one of her hand mirrors, looked under and to the back and lo and behold, a small pinhole shows up.
    Grrr… some Chinaman is getting a cussing….

Now I get a do over when the replacement part comes in.

Morning All. Rain started yesterday afternoon and it is expected to continue for most of this week. I couldn't get over how dark it was yesterday. I got some bookkeeping done, baseball watching and quilting as well. Off to work this morning. My ears sound plugged so it will be hard to hear what the kids are saying. Funny thing, when you ask a student to speak up as you can't hear them, they get even more quieter.
MikeInMa is this the camping trip to that neat cabin you were at last time?

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning! Already 66F here, last summer-ish day for the week (and probably the year). Buying some mixed hardwoods to supplement my inventory (I only have about 4 cords CSS at the moment), need to split and fill an IBC tote with cherry and put a new pallet on the bottom of a damaged tote. Have a God day!

    Good morning, members.

    Low 50's, overcast, foggy. Yuk.

I'm not doing too much outside today, aside from possible lunch with a friend.

Good morning, y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 46° this morning, forecast for 81°. Get off for 3 days @7AM, going to do a little yard work for a friend this morning, then a new customer is supposed to come pick up a load of wood. Got to finish stacking a couple totes and then get a load ready for delivery tomorrow.
    Be encouraging, share a smile...

Yes, last day of summer her. Supposed to be cooler but not cold yet. I see 60 in forecast by the weekend. This mid 70's and sunny has been unreal, but windy every day is not so great.

A lot of beans getting combined and a decent amount of corn being picked too.

Morning All. Yesterday was an April day. Rain, sun, rain, hail and rain mixed, sun. campinspecter got caught in the hail/rain downpour when he was loading groceries into the car. I am so glad we have a carport for that kind of weather.

    Everyone have a great day.
