Yes. I just used it as a binder for my rub. Its an import from Italy. Usually I use mustard as it doesnt instill a flavour but I was playing around this time.

I'm very basic (and cheap) and pretty much smoke the same couple of meats. (So I don't post my cooks)
Tonight was a leftover night as we both had a late lunch.
Last weekend's pulled pork is still hanging around so in the microwave goes a bowl of PP, while cruising around in the fridge, SAUERKRAUT jumped off the door with the mayonnaise and horseradish.
Now I'm not a fan of bbq sauce so my pork was just SPG.
Mayo on both pieces of good seeded Jewish rye bread, sauerkraut mixed in with the pork after the first 2 minutes.
    Wow!
We were going to have PP tacos tonight (instead of burger).

I'll be putting a few of these babies in the freezer next week.

    That’s a price I haven’t seen in years. It’s a price worth having a freezer full of.

This price seems to come up almost monthly at this place. It's an "independent" grocery that's supplied by Hannaford, a large regional chain.
There's not many better ways to spend 99c. !

fuelrod haven't seen butts at that price in over a year here. I'd definitely stock up on a few. When they're that cheap I buy a couple just to grind.

When making pulled pork tacos have you tried using a Mexican hot sauce as a binder? I use tapatio or chalula and then season with either a fajita rub or taco seasoning. Turns out fantastic

I was meaning to post this last week but didnt get around to it. I had some brisket flat vacuum sealed in the freezer which needed a home so since I havent made chili for awhile I thought some brisket and Guinness chili was in order. I added some cubed brisket and then had some more to use up so I added some shredded brisket. Slow smoked over hickory wood. I had some left after eating it for a few days so instead of letting it go bad I pulled out the vacuum sealer and put it in the freezer for some quick and tasty meals. The only thing I would do different next time is to add more liquid. There was so much meat!

You say that like it's a bad thing! And I see you make chili like it's supposed to be...with the little mini fuel pods...aka beans!

I tried shotgun shells yesterday for the first time. Turned out good. I took them to a get together last night and they were a hit.

    Sean what a view!

Couldn't hunt this afternoon due to rain so I threw some baby backs on. Tried just a basic SPG on one rack and it wasn't half bad. The bottoms got a little charred somehow but still turned out tasty.

    5hrs @225 no wrap

Yeah we are blessed around here with lots of great mountain scenery. Ribs looked great by the way!
