Cleaning off Pine tar

    I have a ton of caked on pine tar/woodchips stuck to my saws after my recent mega score (still ongoing). It won’t blow off with compressed air. What kind of chemicals do yall recommend for cleaning?

    isopropyl or cooking oil or any other oil really like wd40
    they also sell a bottle of bug and tar removal.

    I use mineral spirits or gasoline.

    Rubbing ( isopropyl ) alcohol works as good ,or better than anything that I have used ,and not nearly as harsh/hazardous as chemicals used for that purpose . YMMV …
