A Strange Request

Ok, so here goes and if what I am about to ask is not appropriate on this site I completely understand, anyway....

I just recently had to get a new iPad as the old one is hit/miss.

Some sites that I use the password will not work and I have no way to contact the Administrator..One of those is The Forestry Forum....So my question is are there any members here on FHC that know how I can get ahold of someone there?

While I was still able to log on there one member sent a message saying that he sent me a PM but since I can no longer log in I cannot read the PM. I didn't write down my password just had it saved in my login.

So, I would be beholden to anyone with some suggestions. I admit i am a complete dummy with electronics and computers .... Ed

 

Sorry I can't help as I guarantee I'm worse with electronics. Maybe Eric VW can help you as he's done many times for me.

 

Have you gone thru the "forgot my password" process at the login page ?

 

Like bill suggested. Go to sign in, enter your user name. When asked for password there’s usally a small link (forgot my password). Click that and it will walk you through making another. You’ll need email working.
If there’s no link just enter anything and eventually it’ll figure out you don’t know.

 

You might be able to go the long way around and watch one of Jeff's YouTube's and message through that.

 

Thanks so much Y'all! Yes I have followed the prompts on Forestry Forum where it asks "forgot password" and then enter your username or email address. I have done both repeatedly and no response, I have also kept checking in "junk, spam, deleted mail" and nothing shows up there either.

I really appreciate the suggestions as I realize that none of you has a dog in this fight ..

Can get you still get messages from the guy that sent you the pm? If so see if he can get you the contact info for the administrators. You may need to create a new username and login.

Duh, I'm a member and can contact them. I'd probably need your FF name. Don't know why I didn't think of that last night.
