Nice looking 576. It's been around the country. I kinda miss that saw. Only one I ever had that hated a short bar. A 20" wouldn't load it enough and it would 4 stroke in the cut unless you went to an 8 pin.

I made a couple cuts with that 576 and I liked it.

Thats interesting...I'll keep that in mind. As I've got a 576 WW ported coming in very soon... I was going to ask how you liked it....

Nice pics Carbine!! You ever want to part ways with that Lathe or the XPW? Just let me know ;)

I know you got more saws than that... A certain JD comes to mind, as well as a certain Gear drive saw  And about 15 others :)

I bought the XPW when I found out we were expecting our first child, at the Paul Bunyan show down in southern Ohio. Man o man, was I happy as a lark when I left with that saw under my arm!
I sold Gary (Guido) that JD at out last GTG at Swags . I kind of hated to, given the rarity... but he had the other missing links, and treated me fair on it. I ended up with his PP315, which kind of took the JD's place in the collection. Man is that saw a gem, I don't ever plan on letting that one go. And as far as the "G", it sleeps in the middle of my bed at night   (kidding of course, well maybe lol)
