Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. Mid 50's this morning. Church this morning, then keeping grandsons this afternoon. Our son and family want to come over for supper tonight.
Parade was ok yesterday...

Our local vol fire departments. First one is where I live.
Our county is large, has several towns with fire stations. Couple others weren't there.

I've been cutting firewood for my niece
I gave this chusky to her husband to run
He was so happy to have a strong saw that he's a brave soul
didn't check the bar oil for several tanks.
It's a lot more saw than the 028 I gave him year's ago.
We got one load in before a hydraulic line blew on the excavator
Then we dragged a hunting shack into the woods for deer season
I built this 371 12 years ago with a 268 piston
It's still together his brother owns it.

Good morning everyone! My red maples are just starting, but it looks like a good year for color. I've been carrying some oak into the basement for blizzard emergency wood. I slept like a log last night!

Good morning! Already 53F and sunny, rain moving in tomorrow. Started a project over the weekend installing stone veneer on the front of my barn. It's about 60% complete as of now. Went to a wedding Saturday night. The roadside firewood stand kept me busy and I got about 1/2 cord split yesterday. I'll be making bundles and kindling tonight to replenish the inventory. Have a God day!

Wife and kids are off today, so I took off as well. Planned on going out and sit in the stand this morning, but I slept worse than normal, so I slept in. Just doing yard work and hanging out. Its my wife's bday today, so maybe we'll go out for lunch.
We don't usually go crazy for our birthdays and are low key.

Tonight son has senior night at soccer. Parents walk out with the seniors, then after game have a dinner for the team.
Hard to believe this is his last home game. Time is flying by. 13 years of playing organized soccer have come and are almost gone.

Morning All. Again overcast with fog drifting around. Barely saw the sun yesterday. We had a good day visiting BUT I have come down with a cold. Bed, orange juice and sleep for me today. I just hope no one else gets it. I guess when you work in a school, it is inevitable to catch something. It has been about four years since I came down with a cold.

Good morning! 51F and mostly sunny in the Hoosier Heartland. Rain moves in later today and temps will start dropping off. Made a few types of bundles last night to refill the roadside stand. Planted some mums to get them in the ground before freezing weather shows up. Covered all the seasoned wood that wasn't covered due to rain. Most of it will probably end up in the roadside stand this weekend. Put up lights and fall decorations on the front porch. Going to my niece's choir concert tonight. Have a God day!
