Found a bit of oil from this bolt on the splitter valve, is it for a 3rd function or ?
I just now tightened a little bit, not easy to get to with a normal wrench

I can't see the pictures. Try reloading them. If they are over like 8 mb they won't load

That's got to be a super tiny leak. Where is it leaking from?

Those pictures don't show anything. It's rust colored, so it's probably coming out of the spool cap on the end of the valve. Are you sure it's oil?

I'm pretty positive it is, tightened it a touch and no more drip but now I found oil in that cap (circled in red) is that the spool cap?

It could be oil\water mix that leaked out months ago and I just now found it IMG_20221009_153124.jpg

Hopefully that fixed it, but that could just be "splitter sweat".

There should be a detent adjustment under that cap...

Sounds like a damaged o-ring at the rear of the valve. The cap covering the detent should not have fluid in it , it is only a dust cover. Some brands of valves have a vent built into the cover.

mine leaked from that same spot, If your splitter still has a warranty, go file a claim, they should send you a new one.
At least countyline did for mine. Of course I have yet to install it. The leak isn't bad enough for me to replace it yet.
new valve sitting in the box for when I really need it.
