52 here with a North wind and light rain. Boiler's still slowly burning random stuff. Nice and cool for the weekend they say, that will be very enjoyable.

We were in the high 40's this morning with rain coming in so we're having a shoulder season fire.

Cool front, 55 this morning with a high of 70. We’re slowly getting there. Though we have mid 80’s forecast for the next 10 days.

51 going up to 62. Getting the hearth sealed and staining all of the trim. Got a new piece of pipe for the stove. Need to get this finished so I can get the stove back into place and burn some wood.

33 overnight. Some of the rain was thick and chunky last evening while fishing, but no evidence of snowfall this morning.

Lit the first fire of the season this morning. 35 out and 65 in. Started off the season with some paper birch. It really feels great to have the heat envelop you. Sunny day today so I may not even add any more wood.

This morning was the first fire of the season, in the house stove. 36 outside and only supposed to get to 45 today, and it's cloudy with a chance of rain, so I figured it was worth it to heat things up a bit. Next several days are supposed to be back warmer, but fall is pretty much upon us here.

Fired up the stove this morning on my way out. Not supposed to get far into the 50s and was barely 40 at the house when I left!

This has been a cold fall until yesterday and today. Yesterday was in the 70's and today in the 60's after lows in the 40's. The wife of all people went ahead and started the wood stove up to take off the chill. I have not even been able to remove the AC units this year before she fired up the stove. Heck I still need to get on the roof and clean the chimney.

Kept one; lost two. Tonight there were what I thought great conditions. Colder temps, wind, waves coming in....only caught one. :picard: Threw it back for another day.

But I did get a partridge today while I was driving back from pulling the minnow trap!

32 now. Some areas dropping into the low 20's tonight!

NOAA is calling for a low of 31, we have some ash going in the Lopi. When the temp in the basement hit 77, I headed upstairs where the temp is 73.
