Got a call last night my lil brother whose 6’7” lost his dwelling due to a house fire.. Feeling very thankful, He wife, 2 kids and dog got out safe. Everything inside is a complete loss.
Sorry to hear Lyle. Hopefully insurance comes through and the replaceable stuff gets replaced. Some stuff can’t be replaced.
I hear you, do not know if they had renters insurance.. Talked to him this Morning, I don’t want your &$@#% Money, I just need time to find housing for family.. hard to find rentals right now..
Luckily got family in Bridgewater, VT area that are on it. Of course no renters insurance Luckily Nate is a hard working resourceful fella with a good reputation in area… Owner wants to rebuild and have him as a renter but that’s a year out.
Can't like that. Like others, glad they are safe and a place to stay but very sorry they have to go through it.
That is terrible. The main point is that they are alright. I'm sure they are going to be in shock for a while. Prayers sent.
Canadian border VT ...so sorry to hear about your Brothers house fire. If he is half as strong, smart and independent as I feel you are, I believe he and his family will rise from the ashes and be stronger than ever!
I am so sorry to hear of your brother's bad luck. Grateful he and his family escaped with their lives. It will be a long time before he is able to settle down and call where where he is home. I don't know about the area he is in, but here all real-estate sales and rentals are at a premium. I just paid my home insurance. They raised the value of my property 50% from last year. I said no way can that be realistic, but then just two homes up the road, a house sold for twice what it sold for just 4 years ago.
So sorry that happened. Glad that everyone and the pets are safe, but it must be so distressing to suddenly lose everything.
