Looks tasty! Is the yellow something you put on there (sauce/seasoning), or is that fat? Do you keep the tails for projects, or sell them?
Yellow is mustard, and the brown is barbeque sauce. I normally don't keep the tails but this one was exceptional. The camera doesn't do it justice. Fox squirrels are less common than grey squirrels around these parts. Much larger than the last couple I cooked which were grey.
I was recently told that mepps is still buying fox and grey squirrel tails for their rooster tail spinners. 50 cents supposedly.
