Working on the raised hearth today with the wife. I need move the outlets and come up with a half wall. I'm going to do a distressed galvanized half wall. Better hurry up its going to be cold soon. Went an entirely different direction than I wanted originally, couldn't get the tile I wanted. Should work out alright.
Recently arrived at the Sourwood Glen tree farm. House is warmed up, but we are both tuckered . Have a couple of good size blow downs blocking the main roads, so i brought thus big saw down. hope to awake to a crisp Fall morning.
Helped load up and move my son out today, well yesterday now. Bought a house with his girlfriend about 35 minutes away. Lots more moving to do. Bitter sweet is a good description. Will need some tips on this:

Called the guy that I bought a truck load of firewood (logs) from this spring in the hopes of having another 11 cord dropped before the snow flies. What I paid 1100 for this spring is now 1500! Going to have to wait on that one.
