The youngest piney has already learned the basics of splitting and stacking so today we practiced with the cant hook. He had it figured out after a few tries

You're absolutely right. Not these kids. If we're outside, they're outside with us 90% of the time. And thankfully they're both eager to help with the work sometimes. Thanks buddy. I sure hope everything we're teaching them sticks with them as they grow up.

Haha it's both. They're growing like crazy and we ain't getting any younger. Erik B he'll be 4 in Nov and his big sis just turned 8 this summer Canadian border VT . These kids like to learn things the hard way. I told him he at least needed sneakers but he insisted on his crocks. I said "ok but when you drop a log on your foot don't come runnin to me". Thankfully he still has all his toes
