Picked up my new mill on friday at woodmizer in Shade Gap Pa as usual Marty and the Pa woodmizer staff were ready we sawed a maple log to do some training on the new mill it is a lot different .The new mill has a operators station I do not walk with the mill head and new setworks are really different it will take the technology deficient operator a little time to get used to so much faster I went from 17hp to 38hp story continues JB
Yes he was very busy on the phone friday but during my training he did not answer any calls I was surprised by that his staff handled it until we were finished they are good people to deal with JB
I'm jealous..... That's a sweet machine! Keep us updated on that 38 hp Kohler, I'm curious how the compare to the 36hp Wisconsin's Woodmizer used to put on the 40 super.
How'd you make out on the older mill $$. They must still be in high demand with most of the bigger guys having very long waiting lists. Sweet mill and congratulations.
Looks like you bought the twin to my dad's new mill. Upgrading from 20hp w/out hydraulics to that he said the same thing: a lot to get used to. He loves his now and I am sure you will too
