40* @ 6:30 am when I went to go food shopping. House was at 66*, needed slippers this morning.
Back at home, enjoying a hot cup of tea and my Sunday Market Basket jelly donut:coffee:

This Joe Rogan podcast is a pretty grim look at how money driven and corrupt the big pharma, big medicine, insurance companies and the FDA are. The guest, Brigham Buhler, was a drug sales rep for a long time and then ran pharmacies and labs before now running Ways2Well.

I had known some of what he talks about but also learned a lot on how our "health" care (he calls it sick care) is broken.

Started doing the pre winter preps! Swapped out the summer stuff in the shed with the winter stuff.

Also got the 3 season porch prepped for use! First time since we moved in. At least we have a spot to go sit and watch the birdies without getting too chilled. The first time the kitties had a chance to venture out there and they had a hoot laying in the sun! Its finally a catio!

Still need to do a bit more putzin in the shed, need some more shelving as more stuff and not enough space to put it!!

Market Basket has some of the best donuts around. Far better than other supermarkets and even Dunkin/Honeydew etc.

Sure, you can get better at a few select bakeries but at :emptywallet:

We've had a couple mornings in the 40's here so I figured I'd do a little maintenance to the hastings. I took the back cover off and pulled the room air blower out. Boy was she dusty o_O! I blew out the blower with the compressor and cleaned all the fins off then brushed/vacuumed out the back of the stove. I also oiled all the bearings and greased the versa grate shaft. Since we have the doors and windows open today I ran a short test fire everything performed as it should .

This porch was a major factor in our purchase of the shack! Our only wish was for it to be on the other end of the house where it would have all day sun. But it still gets a lot of midday and evening sun! not much sun today, But they are still enjoying the heck out of it!!

I know we have a number of NH folks here. Yesterday our electric provider Unitil announced a 77% rate increase coming in Dec. They say their average bill is $132 which would jump to $234. Ours runs from about $120 to $155 (higher bill during summer with air conditioner use). Unitil covers a lot of SE NH and the Concord/Bow area.
