Makes you wonder how many others are like that. That’s why I’ll buy my stuff in boxes rather than having some tard put it together.
just to clarify...chipper is used and came here for feed roll malfunction, engine running ruff....it was wearing tires and i told the owners that the axle was bent, but they dont want to believe that so they just put some other spare rims and tires on it
I remember that some cars back in the day ( yeah I hate that term) had left hand thread lug nuts on one side. I think it was a Chrysler thing ; go figure.
I remember people snapping the left hand studs and replacing with right hand ones so often that you never knew what was what.
Just last month I caught two young ladies(nurses) in the hospital parking lot trying to put their spare tire on backwards. I took it off and put it on right. Automakers are going to have to put “ THIS SIDE OUT” on car rims I guess…. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Being loaded heavy takes its toll on the ol springs. Replacement installed was only $950 bucks. The springs are on back order and called around everywhere, I wanted to replace both sides but due to supply chain and manufacturing issues its just not in the cards.
Do you have a spring shop local to you? They can often make whatever you need We have one local here over in Wooster...Okeys Alignment shop, give 'em a call if you can't find what you need... Okey's
I'm in the south east so i had to go to Columbus, I normally go to smith springs. They don't make any springs but had me in and out in a couple hours. Ill remember that shop as no doubt something else will break.
Yeah it would be a haul for you, but it is at least an option, if needed...they will pull the truck on the rack and make/replace any springs while you wait, especially if you set it up with them when making the appointment...they make custom U bolts too...also do alignments on pretty much anything...old family business in the same location for many moons.
