Just went to the Stihl dealer.He said a big tree company has had a bunch of bearings fail in 362 cm. Some saws Stihl wants back to try and find the problem.

Ya gots' ta look out for them Germans, they tend to over evgineer, like a 665 Solo, a 65cc saw that weighs as much as an 80cc saw! LOL! Joking aside, there are a lot of things that can contribute to main bearing failure, not to mention bad parts from a supplier, which is utimately Stihl's problem but that does not mean they won't curcify the supplier. Xerox will NOT put up with a 1/10 of 1% failure rate on outsourced parts. If a vendor hits that, Xerox will NEVER buy from them again!
This is from a dealer that has sold nothing but Stihl products for the last 25 years and is his only source of income. Now you guys that only cut 1 day a month should not have to worry
