    Just went to the Stihl dealer.He said a big tree company has had a bunch of bearings fail in 362 cm. Some saws Stihl wants back to try and find the problem.

    Mine doesn't have much fuel through it, but I will be watching this. Interested to see what else they find..

    Ya gots' ta look out for them Germans, they tend to over evgineer, like a 665 Solo, a 65cc saw that weighs as much as an 80cc saw! LOL!

    Joking aside, there are a lot of things that can contribute to main bearing failure, not to mention bad parts from a supplier, which is utimately Stihl's problem but that does not mean they won't curcify the supplier. Xerox will NOT put up with a 1/10 of 1% failure rate on outsourced parts. If a vendor hits that, Xerox will NEVER buy from them again!

    This is from a dealer that has sold nothing but Stihl products for the last 25 years and is his only source of income. Now you guys that only cut 1 day a month should not have to worry
