Good morning everyone. Yesterday was the annual pig roast at our friend and auto body man Billy's house. The pig was extra succulent this year. He had the smoker filled with charcoal hooked up to his truck when he picked up the pig, and he thinks the air on the coals seared it on the ride home.
I love the skin!
Grandson today. We'll split some wood, but it's too cool for the pool. I have to close it tomorrow.

Good afternoon y'all. Hope y'all are having a SPECTACULAR SONDAY. Had a good church service this morning. Then my hunny and I came to Chili's for lunch, going by Lowe's to pick up a few bolts that were missing on the conveyor. Hope to get the new splitter in place to finish a shed this coming week.
Yes, our trip home was uneventful, kinda long, but safe. Got home about 7:30 or so. Our son and his FIL came over and helped get the equipment unloaded.

Good morning! 56F and cloudy with rain moving in today. Extra cool but warming up throughout the week. Lazy day. Refilled the roadside stand and made a few bundles. With rain coming I'll probably make more bundles in the bard tonight. I have a line on some free wood stacked by the road but don't feel like loading in the rain. Have a God day!

 

Morning All. Up early as campinspecter is heading out for more of that alder for firewood. Dark out there with a heavy overcast. We have a smoke layer over us from the interior of BC. Sun tried hard to shine thorough yesterday but it was a losing battle. We will see what today brings in clearing it out.
Didn't get the chair problem solved but campinspecter was talking to our neighbour last night and we have something else to try. Wiring is not our forte.
Off to work for the week.

Good morning everyone! Most mornings, I've been working on expanding my black locust pile. I have a stash of rounds and big chunks from several years ago. I've been splitting them with my little electric splitter, and stacking them at the end of a big stack that's already split. I'm going to run out of room before I run out of rounds.

Good afternoon, y'all. Hope y'all are having a MARVELOUS MONDAY. 85° and partly cloudy, scattered showers. Working the 7AM-7PM shift this week. Hope to get the new splitter set-up on a rack that needs finishing, but the shorter days makes it tough.

Muggy, foggy, showery day ahead. Chance of thunder storms later.

I'll be onsite when a new power recliner is delivered for mom. It's identical to one dad got last month. Nothing too fancy. The chairs recline as well as lift a person to a near standing position.
