Yep. Spent most of the holiday weekend inside watching TV. Not exactly my cup of tea. Feeling better and ready to get back to splitting.

 

We did the train ride almost 10 years ago. There's some really nice scenery. Enjoy!

 

Good morning and TGIF! 54F and sunny. I'm back to opening windows at night again. I need to get the last of the ash split tonight. There's too much in the wood yard so spring (almost fall) cleaning is in order. Have a God day!

 

Morning All. We have fog this morning. I was out on the road last night when the moon came up. Gorgeous harvest moon, so big and bright. Probably another nice day here again today.
Off to work for the last day this week.

Afternoon already. I spent the day on the couch yesterday, got my flu shot in one arm and my Covid booster in the other. Felt like crap all day, but feel fine now.
Amazing how many errands accumulate in 24 hours!

Just a quick update. Done with surgery and back home. So far no pain. He can put weight on but is also using a crutch. Doc sad he can start driving in 3 days. Doc also said that in 5/6 yrs it is possible he might have to have a full knee replacement. Remains to be seen. Follow up in two weeks.

There's a town event down the street from us this afternoon, with fireworks later tonight. The fireworks should be visible from our driveway.

Good morning. 50s here after light rains yesterday. Apples are getting good, a few leaves turning and falling here and there, and the weather is becoming more variable so fall is pretty much here now.

Morning all. Foggy again this morning but it will probably clear off. It did yesterday to a warm afternoon and another gorgeous harvest moon rising in the evenng.

Zacchaeus was a thief in high places and the people hated him. But Zacchaeus heard about Jesus and wanted to see him. He was certainly surprised when Jesus stood at the bottom of the tree and said" Come down. I want to go to your house." When Zacchaeus met Jesus, his heart was changed. Jesus gives the same invitation to us. "Come to me and I will change your heart". Won't you accept his invitation today?

I live about three hours away from where your at. I have mountains like that all around me. Been to the Smokey mountains many times. A beautiful place. Have you got to see caves cove?

Very relaxing day yesterday. We did go out to eat. We did have others for a campfire. We did watch fireworks with a bright full moon nearby.

Morning All. Gorgeous sunrise with all the smoke from the interior of BC wafting out over the coast. Another bad season of fires for BC, Washington, Oregon and California. The lower part of Vancouver Island has a solid cover of smoke today. Weather is going to change tomorrow.
Off to Mom's today to see if we can fix the chairlift problem. I think we need prayers on this one. Wiring is not our forte.
Backwoods Savage do you take any pictures with your phone? My phone is so old that it will take pictures but I have to email them to myself to be able to use them. the computer won't read the phone to get the pictures off.
Chazsbetterhalf I hope Chaz is healing well. Tell him not to push it too hard.
