A new threat to Elm

You’re welcome. I drove through a small town in SW Va this weekend that was a wasteland of dead Ash. I hope some of our bugs like Asian trees.

 

Have you seen any of its effects yet Chud ?
Wonder if it'll make its way into Pennsylvania for The Wood Wolverine. Maybe he'll take elm if its dead?

 

Nope. I’d not heat with wood if I was confined to elm.
Hate to see the demise of any specific species honestly. Hopefully ash can make a return in my lifetime.

I have not noticed any damage to Elms, but will take a closer look.
