Yeah, I was going to say it looks like an olive...especially the one turning purple from green. I wouldn't bother.

 

I always look at it this way. If it were edible something would have ate it already LOL
I did see two tiny blueberries in the forest this year. First time in my life I saw the wild blueberries actually produce fruit. Or maybe the first time I saw them before something else did.

 

I read that they are edible, but are better when pickled. I’m going to pass on the china fruit.

Cut it down, dry it out, burn it and then you'll say "Olive it for firewood"
