My two sons and I just got back from a trip to the BWCA. We had a great trip with two other dad's and their sons. We got to eat fish everyday mostly Northern Pike Walleye and Smallmouth bass. I caught my best ever smallmouth an 18" fish. We got to see bald eagles and loon's and had the two lakes we stayed in to ourselves for the most part. It was my fifth trip into God's country and I am grateful for it. Now back to the hoarding.
Sounds like you all had a great outing. That part of our country is such a dramatic exception to today's crazy fast paced, electronic gizmo lifestyle! Keep it up with the kids.
My buddy just got back from there last week. He’s been the last two years at least and loves it! Looks like some great fishing and a good time
