Added another stacking rack which will bring me to 9 cords when I get it full. All materials were repurposed for previous racks at the old house.

Now I need to work on getting it filled up.

    Hey that looks great!
Repurposed wood is like cheating big box business out of profits.
    I love doing it.
How many cord on that row presently?
It looks like the row is slightly lower than the yard, if its not have you thought about putting a layer of plastic down first? I use pallets right on my lawn, so I think water runs off pretty quick, and less moisture comes up from the ground.

All the best in filling it quickly. And having more wood than will fit.

Almost have the 8th cord finished. What you are seeing is rocks stacked along the bottom of the fence. Drainage isn't an issue. I have thought about putting plastic under the stacks though.

Nice looking and love repurposing. The only thing i hate about multi row racks is reaching to stack the back row when no access from the other side.

Wanna see your progress filling it up! :stacker:

buZZsaw BRAD I don't find it to bad. I just stack the back row first.

Only 2 more Fridays till the first day of fall. Split a little more wood this morning to finish off cord number 8 and starting on number 9.

Nice row. My longest is 7, and it has been seasoning and changing shape for a year!

Nice! I've got literally 10-11 cord split and needing stacked (most of.it is oak,.locust and hickory), I have enough room for around 6 cord in the monster stack, some of the split pile will be going to the stone mason that has helped me build the pizza oven this summer in trade for his hard work.....you can see the split pike in the background....

    20220902_120156.jpg

I still have literally 14 cord + standing and needing cut in various locations this fall and winter, alot of it being oak, hard maple, ash and locust. I'm running out of space!

Scotty Overkill That is a nice looking pizza oven. Sounds like a good trade on labor.

One can be built much simpler than mine, but when you're married and she wants something different, we'll, it'll cost ya's.....lol
