    Only one gallon left at Menards but it was 8.98 plus 11% rebate. I have 11 gallons of b&c oil just bought 10 gallons of rec gas at 5.50 a gal enough 2 cycle on hand to make 80 gallons at 40:1 and not a single log to cut on. 0820221843a_Film2.jpg

    Was at Tractor Supply today and a gallon of their brand is up to $14.99/gallon. I have 3+ gallons on hand.

    Thats almost hoarder territory. You need more saws to share that fuel and bar earl. Ported saws.

    At 5G a year, I put up 3 years worth while it was cheep last early spring (2021). For a month, every time I was near TSC, I grabbed whatever I could carry. A friend gave me a 1G jug of 2 cycle oil, probably a lifetime supply there.
    A jerry can or 2 of good gas might be in order. Im into it for 6G of gas this year so far.
    And thanks to the right education here:
    * we're on the 4 year plan (@7 Cord/yr), C S S & covered.
    * I'm stocking SS wood to put off getting into the oak and ash. This fall will be the first Fall we use pine and poplar.....im hoping to have a full cord handy for this Spring.
    God is good.

    Also depends on how long it’s aged after slaughter

    Aging has a lot more to do with it in my opinion. Our cows have 5 acres to roam. We always dry age for at least two weeks and it’s always tender

    Plenty of wood here too, but for bar oil, the travel might be worth it....

    HHO just went up from $4.07 to $4.11 (200G bulk).
    I have only been tracking this loosely weekly, not daily. Not sure if this the beginning of something or regular ups and downs on a weekly basis.

    Question, other than diesel/hho/gasoline, and in our case B&C oil, what other tell-tale signs do you guys follow to "see" where things are headed?

    B&C is still bordering on sodomy here.

    I follow HHO costs weekly myself. I bought 180 gallons 2 or 3 weeks ago at $4.20. Last week it dropped to $3.90 and this week it climbed slightly to $3.98.
    I check this website on occasion to get a rough idea of what's actually happening: Crude Oil Prices Today | OilPrice.com
    There are links to many different articles that I usually find to be somewhat helpful.
