I need to check with my cousin and see if they still have the bar oil at $7/gal. We have been using the mixed bar/140 oil from the totes, seems to be working fine. Does have a little 140 gear oil smell...guess I can tell it's oiling...:thumbs:

I've never been in a Tractor Supply. Just found out the building being built in town is a Tractor Supply! Finally some place I would want to shop!

Do keep in mind that the reason why synthetic and synthetic blend motor oil has went way up in price and some of it is hard to find (like Shell Rotella T5&6 for instance is, it's not made from crude oil like regular (non synthetic motor is) but it's made from natural gas and the cost of NG has went way up thanks to our buddy in the Whitehouse so the cost of synthetic and synthetic blend oil has also went up.

We just went to Aldi, a fairly inexpensive food store.
Cream, qt., used to be $2.50, today $4.3x. Butter, cerial, $1.4x and $1.78, well into $3 range. We were soundly sodomized.
First world problem: I've decided to cut using cream in coffee, and when I do, it will be in smaller cups.
    Cumby's coffee still $.99/cup though!

The last few times (over the course of the entire year) we have been to aldis, they haven't had the coffee creamer that I got addicted to. Dang! But yeah, their prices have been increasing quite healthy.

The only one made from natural gas is Pensoil platinum. The rest rely heavily on crude oil to end up as a synthetic.

A cup of cream is .99c too!

I use Walmart brand half and half, but will buy a cup of CF cream now and then.

Went into Aldi's once as her kids always talk of it and their prices. Honestly wasnt impressed.

We're finally getting a Blaine's 1 mile from my house this Fall. I haven't been in a Blaine's farm and fleet in like 20 years. The closest mills fleet farm is about 15 miles away. That's where we usually go.

I'm feeling much better about buying a case (6 gallons) of Bel-Ray Hi-Tac for $12.99/gal this Spring.

And im feeling good about the few gallons I grabbed 2 years ago and have yet to dig into.

Im not sure that would be a panic buy. If I saw B&C for that price or better, I'd grab a few. I WILL use it, if not this year, then next. Not like it will go bad. Kinda doing the same with clothing and other consumables just now.

hey Horken where is Blains going in, its a long ride to Mills in West bend from my place and of course about 40 mi to Blains in Waukesha, not sure where either are in Fondulac but that is a minimum of 17 mi. one way to the south edge.
One can get lost in that new West bend store of Mill's there was something homy about the old one.
