I have been sidelined for a while, as far as making firewood goes, so today I put together "blocks" that I will use to keep trunks of trees off the ground when I am cutting them up. I used some old treated fence posts cut to about 30 inches and screwed them together in a pyramid shape. If I have to cut a tree off of the root ball, I can keep the trunk off the ground and protect chains. I will give them a try when I get back to cutting again in a month. Shoulder has to heal first.
Nice repurposing of materials, and great that the wheels are turning while you’re on the mend. That setup should work out well for you
