I wanted to plant BK but it was too late this year. Definitely want to next year.

I need to find a tomato that comes on earlier also.

    Pineapple.

I was talking to my neighbor and mentioned i wanted to try the Pineapple tomato. She said she had got hers at a greenhouse and she was going there again the next day, she'd get me some.
They were beautiful plants! And bigger than any of the other greenhouses in the area had. I'll definitely grow them again.

If you like Hellmann's, try thr Aldi store brand. Tastes the same, and 2$ cheaper.

I think it's called Burman's. I bought a jar and tasted them side by side. Its almost exact...

sorry, Dave, i forgot to get back to your question.
Potatoes occasionally go to seed if the weather is just right. This seed pod looks almost exactly like a cherry tomato. But don't eat them! They will make you sick!
They're considered poisonous, but not "kill you" poisonous.
Don't bother keeping these seeds because you won't get the same type potato again. But if you want to develop your own Yooperdave variety, you can spend a couple years breeding a hybrid.

Roll a Coaster in 30 seconds
Moved this pumpkin slightly to the right to keep it from growing over the vine, left of the stem.
In moving it I heard a faint pop.
    F word!
I thought I had broken the stem.
And when I went to inspect, from the angle I initially saw I had broken vine.
    F WORD!

on closer inspection, it was that blade of grass that made it look like a break.

Felt very similar to finding your wallet in a train station when I figured it out

Miss July was out yesterday putting newspaper under the pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns. She struggled to lift the biggest punkin with one hand and slide the papers under it. This is her first time growing pumpkins and the big one is about basketball sized. :dex:

Protects the fruit from creepy crawlies coming up from underneath.

With the recent sightings of a rattle snake in the log yard (and under a bush at the other neighbors), it'll be a while till any processing gets done...:startled:

My wife and I pulled 120 garlic yesterday at my garden up at the old homestead. Got some good sized ones after over 200” of snow last winter, and ample rains this summer.
