You should probably start with the little Husqvarna 335 XPT, then you can sell at least half the others and be out of the poorhouse.:emb:

If me, in all seriousness, the saw you reach for the most is the first one id have done if you can live without it for a bit. No need to send it immediately once on his list. I hand delivered mine when my number was about to come up. He keeps you up to date on where you fall on that list.

Speaking of the 335, did you ever get a top handle? I think it needs crank seals. Maybe ill try to fire it up today.

I’d send your 400. If mine cut any faster it would be illegal. Cuts faster than it sounds. It would crush a 462, or 500. Ain’t even gonna say what it would do to Husqvarnas.

Someone here just commented how a ported 400 blew away a 500. Mine even has that bark box and foam air filter. Wonder how that would do with the porting as well???

Are you getting any other saws ported?

I have NOT gotten a top handle saw yet, but I’m still thinking I need one. Especially if’n the boss ever gets off his ash and gets the bucket truck dealt for. Been thinking about a new echo top handle, also been offered a project 338XPT California locally.
See if you can get it started without too much difficulty and send me a PM

Certainly. 1970 Mini Mac 6 resto mod. The tired original 29 cc engine and 1/4 pitch clutch set up were swapped out in favor of a later model 100 series engine and 3/8 lp. 34cc 4 port completely rebuilt with nos parts. Everything that needed it was either replaced with nos parts if available or taken from several doner saws, using the best parts from those. The case was media blasted and powder coated buy a fella in PA. I had a custom decal made for the air filter cover from pictures and measurements of the original. Also done by another fella in PA.

Completely forgot about it when i left in a hurry. Forgot the 400 for the score today so 261 (already on PU) went solo. Did okay without it. Try it in the next few days.

It’s all good natured fun with Husky loyalists. They make a few decent saws for cutting firewood.
