Possibly the wrong forum but this is where I basically spend my time on this site. I’m down here in Costa Rica for 16 total days and nearing my end here. Tonight we went to this little place for dinner and the wood tables and chairs were just amazing. I wish I knew what kind of wood these were made out of and how much time was spent making them shine so nice. If you look closely, they took shells and stuck them in where hollow spots were

Those are cool. Just think of how many "tables & chairs" youve turned into firewood.
    Thanks for sharing

Use your phone or laptop and have Google translate, "what kind of wood is this?".... easy.. just show them the translation and point to the table. You don't need to know how to speak Spanish.

Only if you purchased those pieces and intended to add them to you rows of splits.

Wow, those do look nice! When I was in the Navy during my second deployment, we pulled in for a to Costa Rica for about 4 days for fun . We were in a small town called Gulfito on the west coast. Pretty fun, saw alligators in our hotel pool, and visited a bar that had a dirt floor. Pretty wild place...

    jrider ,
I hope you're not nearing your end there.
We'd miss you around these parts.

I do hope the end of your time away is off the charts awesome though!

I saw signs for Golfito so I couldn’t have been far. Have travelled the west coast from Oso peninsula in the south to Playa Hermosa in Guanicasta in the north. Absolutely beautiful country
