Yes I will be going as I try to go every year. It is always the first full weekend in Oct. I think Oct 7,8,9 . Our GTG will be the following weekend Oct 14,15,16th. I go to the Paul Bunyon Show on Fri..If other FHC members are going to be there I would like to shake hands and say hello.
What's the most interesting/fun thing to check out? Is there an innovative products, that are up and coming, row? Oshkosh EEA and Sun-n-Fun fly-ins have areas like that.
I'll be there with Bissell Maple Farms, booth 430. I'll be boiling (we're diluting syrup and re-boiling for demo purposes) and there is going to be a syrup dunk tank. We have a huge evaporator lined up, I'm hoping for something smaller can be rounded up. The first year for me, this is going to have some growing pains. I have memories of getting ready for Sun-n-Fun for CGS Aviation. Seemed like we were always scrambling at the last minute. I'm getting that same feeling.
I wish they had a similar show in New England. The "closest" thing we have is the Woodsman Day at Fryeburg which doesn't really demo a bunch of wood related products.
