I’ve been putting long hours in cutting wood the past two weeks. Yesterday was an 8 hour day. I am leaving for Costa Rica and won’t return until 8-4 (16 days). Had to make sure my helpers have enough work to do while I’m gone and just hoping they don’t break anything in my absence. Looks like I’m missing out on the hottest part of summer so far.
Dannggg costa rica huh? Enjoy buddy! What part are you guys headed to? We stayed in Guanacaste about 7 years ago.
Don't be dreaming of cutting those mahogany and other trees while you're there. You have enough different piles now...lol... Have fun and enjoy your vacation
That sounds like 16 days of paradise. I was in Costa Rica in January of 2020. We stayed in the volcano district and Jaco beach. The wildlife, especially the birds were incredible. Zip lining and four wheeling in the mountains off the beach were a close second and third. The only downside was the roads/drivers. A tour bus nearly pushed our car off a cliff on a hairpin curve. I also missed the PA/NJ heatwave as I was in the PNW. damm those Oregon beaches are cold in July! Hopefully the round piles kept the boys business while you are on holiday.
We were all over the place. Oso península, Manuel Antonio, Monte Verde, Arenal Volcano, Playa Hermosa Guanacasta. Beautiful country and very clean. They really respect the land there
Yea it was toasty yesterday. Truck said 97⁰ when I left work . Humidity was almost like ya never left costa rica lol. Definitely jealous after seeing all the pictures. It's such a beautiful place.
Did some eyeing up and estimates on the wood piles today….I think another record will fall again. Pictures are of the current status of the piles at the big and small splitter.
8:42 am and it already feels like 95. Glad I have other things to do at 10 this morning. On shirt number two already
Well its still amazing to see the volume of wood YOU GUYS produce. Last day of the heat. Thanks God. I suffered cutting the load i did today.
