Haha I'm not sure about the money in cans part. It's possible. The Zagray's emigrated from Ukraine to Colchester CT and the parents had a dairy farm. The three Zagray's sons bought and sold farm equipment. One of them I believe was a machinist as well. The last brother donated the farm and like $600k to the Colchester Historical Society. The Farm Shows there get bigger and better every year. More cleared space, more people, more buildings and amenities, etc. It's a fun time. I love seeing the big Traction King each year. They had another one, but I didn't see it this time around.
Thanks for taking us along sirbuildalot . Love seeing the old equipment and all the different thought patterns to build something to do horse's work.
Quite a show. I've always liked checking out all of the old tractors at our state fairs. This video was like going to 100 fairs. Thanks for posting sirbuildalot
How cool! Loved seeing many machines that bring back memories. Isn't it cool how old is so charming! EDIT: The barn where that museum is... what is the purpose of having a barn with such a high ceiling? Sure seems tall!
I know they store stuff up on the implement shelves along the long side walls. I would assume so they can work on tall machines like forklifts, backhoes, excavators, etc.
