Ditched the grill a couple weeks ago for a Blackstone flat top. Breakfast is my favorite meal so wanted to have the flat top for eggs, sauteing vegetables, etc. First try at making some homemade burritos on it (loaded with diced bear meat and smothered with Hatch green chiles). Cooked some venison and elk burgers on it later for lunch. Will definitely be enjoying the setup this fall when cooler temps come back.
I really need to get mine out again. Been in storage since late fall. Just didn’t want to leave it out over the winter. It’s been sitting since then.
One large onion with some Oneonta 51 rub the drips on the floor are water...i just hit it quick with the pressure washer to get the dust off
Forgot to post my surf and turf from the other night. Fresh caught tuna from a good friend, nice thick ribeye and some jersey sweet corn from my buddy's farm up the road.
Although it's almost 9million degrees out I was in the mood for a good casserole. Threw together some venison, chopped bacon, tatertots, mushroom soup, sour cream and shredded cheese. Popped it in the easy bake oven for 45mins @350⁰. Now I'm full and hot again
Looks awesome! And I feel your pain. I whipped up a cast iron hunter's pie with black bear meat this evening (but cooked it in the regular oven). Must have lost 5 pounds just in sweat but it was worth it.
