The way this bear that came through early this morning is looking up at the stars, it kind of looks like it's doing the "I shouldn't have ate that" dance.

I can’t imagine why any living creature would find that fuming can irresistible. :picard: Maybe if you attached a breathable pouch full of cloves to the spout it would keep them away. I know mice hate cloves.

Yeah this is Connecticut, and I kid you not last month we narrowly avoided a 22LR ban.

I've heard there's a move to use plant based oils to make plastics. Maybe it tasted like vegetable oil.

If I see any signs of mice, I start placing these all over the place. When we had chickens and their food outside, I'd put a couple between the rows of my stacks.

plastics have a bit of salt in them hence attractive to rodents. The little xyz 's have caused me much grief on vehicle wire over the years.

This has been going on for a while now. We gotta use up the subsidized corn and soy somehow.

We have cats, and that helps, but there are still critters that cause problems. Right now we have at least one woodchuck causing problems. I've seen it a few times, but not when I have my rifle. Might have to put a trap out for it.
