Upgraded MS661 came home today

    This is letting the saw mostly self-feed with gravity in some medium dry red oak. Chain is straight out of the box Stihl 33RS91 on a 28" a bar. I think I would need to drop the rakers to really load up this saw. Phone kept overheating, so this is all I have for today. More to follow if we get any cooler weather.

    Thanks! Definitely gonna use this with longer bars, 36"+. I already have an MMWS461 that does just fine with 32" full-comp or 36" full-skip in hardwoods.

    Nothing special. I certiainly didn't "need" the 661. It was more of a "want."

    Nice square chain and properly filed rakers and that sum beach will eat, no doubt! I don’t think there’s anyone out there that gets more out of a Stihl than Scott. :dex:
