This is my sister's barn/workshop bar. I'm not exactly sure what I think of the pallets on the wall yet, but it is definitely different. The bar got some stained pallet wood around it, the trim on the bottom is old siding from someplace, and the top is rough sawn pine that was left by my former BIL. Turned out pretty nice, considering the <$200 investment. They're getting the place spruced up for a wedding in a couple of weeks. My BIL-to-be is a super nice guy, her high school sweetheart she shoulda stuck with 30 years ago. And a friend's little man cave garage bar
I hope those pallets are screwed to the wall really good, some guys on this forum might mistake them for a pile of free pallets....
I like it. I also like the high school sweetheart thing. I got together with mine again about a year ago after 15 years apart. Not letting her slip away again.
I'm a little more concerned with a bunch of 40-50 something kids scaling the walls When I walked in there yesterday, there was a row of empties from one end to the other And this ain't no BMC crowd, but a bunch of hopheaded, IPA drinking beer snobs. And the bar had already been danced upon. There's video evidence.
