    .3 in, power put for about 2.25 hrs.... Garden was loving it before it even got dark. Calling for more storms today through Sat, some strong. Hopefully they won't be too bad and we'll get more rain. Corn, beans and pastures around here are really hurting, and close to being too late...

    This is on July 12 for our area, we'll see how much the forecast changes. We do need some steady rains for a few days.

    Breezy with clouds and sun; humid in the afternoon with a strong thunderstorm; thunderstorms can bring hail and damaging winds

    I have not kept up with the totals, but wow it seems unprecedented, especially for July. The ground is late winter soft. Usually I have my fingers crossed that a tropical system hits us to get some precipitation.
