Hmm. Don’t know. I would have to check with my brother, he used to blend machine oils along time ago. He still has a good memory though… :D

If you want tacky Lucas oil additive is very tacky. I used some in my old John Deere farm tractor. Serious improvement. Sounds like a totally different engine. No longer fouls plugs every year and starts without a choke now.
Not sure how you’d mix it together without the engine doing it. Which is a possible way if one really wanted to LOL

    TSC was $11 last check.
Of course in the make-your-own game, motor oil is probably that much per quart now!

I tried Canola oil once. Didn’t like it. Chain made a lot of noise and I constantly wanted to deep fry something.

I ran canola at 40:1 in a weed eater for science and stuff.

The Menards bar oil is good stuff and you get 11% off everyday as well. They just up the price 11% so they come out smelling like a rose and you think you got a deal...lol

Well, nobody else has bar oil for any less, so you don't consider that getting a good deal?
Very occasionally in the past I've seen bar oil on sale at Rural King for a lil less than Menards, but that is comparing regular price to sale price too, so...
I haven't bought bar oil from anywhere but those two places for many years now. As a matter of a fact, between those two stores, and maybe Auto Zone and NAPA, and the grocery store(s) of course, that comprises the vast majority of my shopping.

Amy loves Menards so what choice do I have anyway. She likes getting the 11% off coupons in the mail. Menards usually has a very good selection of merchandise too, except bird seed. TSC has the best prices on that.
