Yes… seems the fire rating is always high to extreme this year.

Hoping to get the rain the guessers are calling for today. Getting pretty dry here as well.

Our yard and field behind our house has been very heavy with lightning bugs this year. I should get a vid. We typically have them every year.

Today I learned my whole house water filter has a built in bypass.
I went to change the filter because it is past due and the filter is as clean as the day I installed it last Fall.
    Doh !
    No markings on it anywhere.
Probably proximity to the ocean and a southeast wind.
All too common to drive north/inland and it'll be 10/15 degrees warmer in Summer and cooler in Winter.

Your gas savings is another advantage when working from home. Less wear and tear on the vehicle and gas savings is a win, win.

I suppose I figured that was self evident so didn't mention it. I have been happier than heck that I have only had to fill the gas tank every 3-4 weeks instead of every 3-4 days. And of course the savings of 2.5-3 hours of commute time is its own type of savings.

One of our freighters is finally back after being gone for a refit in the Netherlands for several months.

    Welcome home, big girl.

I'll be changing the oil and putting mine away! Do you have a ball hitch set up on your tractor?

I do have a ball hitch. I just don't know yet if I can actually split with my body problems but have to try.
