I was using my craftsman double bit axe and noticed the handle was coming loose. Fiberglass handle epoxied in the eye socket. Bought this ten years ago and broke the first one which they replaced free of charge. Sears hardware was in business then. I noticed Crafstman tools at Lowes. Will they honor this?

    • At this point, the existing Craftsman warranty polices are upheld and will continue to be honored for as long as Sears Holding is still operating. As of this writing in April 2017, Craftsman warranties can still be redeemed as they always have. You can call the Craftsman warranty hotline at 888-331-4569 for current warranty info.

I did a quick search and these came up.

Yes, as long as Lowes has what you need in stock. Been there, done that. It was hassle free for me since what i needed was in the store. No more Sears stores around so it’s my only option.

Broken hand tools...is that like Dirty Hand tools?
Somehow I don't think Broken Hand Tools would be a selling point if you were to name a company that.
