We have been over 5 dollars of gas for a week or two it has slid back some to 4.90 in spots. Offroad diesel is in the 5.50 range I have most of the diesel on hand for harvest at this point.

I paid $4.71/gal for gas yesterday, at a big box (BJ's) club yesterday.

Non-members price was $4.86/gal. Not too bad for the times we're in.

Hello, the price for 1 liter of Diesel in Sweden is 2.66 dollars, gasoline is 2,46 dollars. 3,8 liter is one gallon. And about 1.9 dollars per Liter is tax. So the price is horribel.

    E-10 is $4.49 here. E-85 is $3.69,fortunately my 97 F-250 isn’t picky so it gets E-85. My wife’s Edge is picky so it gets E-15 @ $4.29.
Another place has E-85 for $2.99 gallon unfortunately I don’t get that way very often.

We just got back from a 777.2 mile trip pulling out camper to Ohio and back. Gas was anywhere from $4.54 to $5.29 for 87. We got 19.5 mpg, hand figured, in our not a real truck. All but about 50 miles were with camper in tow.

I'm at the end of my e-free gas. The closest place that pumps it, is ~2hr ride, each way. It's up near WeldrDave's new acreage, in NH.

I need to find additional reasons to head up that way.

Never had issue one with with the weasel pee e-gas actually. I just religiously add Blue Marine Stabil to every container before I fill them. You just need to watch the alcohol content as small engines will grenade on anything over 10% and it has to be posted on the pump, the amount and that is Federal Law.

I use Bio Kleen in my bulk diesel tank and my pickup truck as well plus a shot of Archoil AR 6500 for good measure.

I tried it (The Burb and my Focus are Flex fuel motors). All it did was decrease my fuel mileage by 15%.

Far as I'm concerned, alcohol belongs in Jim beam, not in your gas tank.

Probably won't happen unless the company is scared of loosing it's customer base. Most all outfits I know of are tacking on a fuel surcharge to cover the cost. Of course as an end user you get to pay for it. Called 'transitory inflation as Biden likes to call it. Transitory my butt.

A 15% drop in mileage with a 20% drop in fuel price is a gain

Thats what many don't get. Yeah E85 is cheaper per gallon but its less energy dense and you often spend more in the long run because you use more of it. But look at the bright side, at least beef, pork, chicken and everything else that uses corn cost more because of corn being used for fuel.

Me too. I believe it was around $2 a gallon a certain December.
