How is the heat portion of the program? I see they are talking about the 4th generation units now. Good to hear your happy with the purchase.

Great information. My wife found online we can do a jump on jump off trolley tour. Might do that, just have to find a parking spot.

Turned on the mini split for heat last night to keep it at 68*. High yesterday was 61* with a stiff breeze and very heavily overcast so no solar gain. Made for great mowing weather anyway. More of the same expected today today although it could ad a couple of degrees.

Back in 2015 had this same type of weather on 6/26-6/28. I ran the P43 for a couple of days so this isn't the latest for me to run heat at this point.

62 here also this morning. I'm thinking the fire pit, and two grills will be going today. Top round roast on 1, cast iron fry pan full of sliced potatoes on the other. Perfect outdoor weather as far as I'm concerned!

She really likes the heat output. She has dialed back the oil fired boiler and uses the Mini Split 80% of the time. We live in eastern PA between Philly and Allentown.

Yesterday hiked up and down Cadillac mountain in in cold, wind, and rain. Made the climb up and down more interesting. Still amazing though.

Lori & I did a 10 day camping stay at Acadia about 10-12 years ago. Had an amazing time. Picked wild blueberries on Cadillac, lots of hikes, biking on the carriage roads, schooner ride out into the bay (passengers raised the sails, f'n heavy). Almost got trapped on Bear Island, walked across the sand bar at low tide, a kayaker came by said we better get moving tide's coming in, tide came in faster than we thought, had to wade back across in thigh high water. The kayaker said if we couldn't make it in time and stayed he's let the Coast Guard know and they'd send a small boat. Lori said "we're not gonna end up on the news, let's get moving". We laugh now but that water was rushing in.

Normally they got added to the recycle pile and the fox got them. I don't think there are enough hand holds for me to get there.

Yesterday was likely the last fire for a while....Finally summer has arrived...
The forecast is for 90's F by the weekend....
Here at the ranch we are usually 5 to 7 degrees F lower due to the Altitude....
Yesterday was a lovely day....Got to about 69F in the afternoon....

I grabbed the Weed whacker and went to work on things around the house.
We have a couple places that the birds sit on the gutters and poop....Blackberries always grow there.....Its a bank with heavy rock piled up to stop erosion....berries grow really good.

These are the small vines and can be hacked down with the Whacker.

Been so wet that the whacker just soaks me with water.....
Got a lot done....still more to do.

Need to clean the stoves out for the summer.

A good long stretch of dry weather seems in the offing...
