Thought I would show some things that I do for a living. I work for one of the largest construction companies in Arkansas and my job is a heavy equipment mechanic. Most days find me in the shop or on the job site working on the big stuff but some times I get to do the easy things. Here I am escorting.
Thanks for sharing trapper brad That is quite the cut through those rocks. I am glad I am not the driver with the oversized load and I don't think I could even pick up one of the pieces of the transmission. Looks like a puzzle.
This is a D-6T we are rebuilding. Usually takes about 2 months but this one has been here 4 so far because of parts.
Heck yeah Ohio Dave. Always fun seeing what others do. We run 3 sand dredges on the Arkansas between Little Rock and Pine Blufff
I have no idea how you tear something that big apart and put it all back together and have it run great! I have a deep respect for folks who can do such things. Good thread!
Have you heard about a grease shortage? My nephew works on his family’s farm and said they have problems getting grease.
Just took a hydraulic bath because some DA took the wrong line off after me telling him twice witch one to take of. I swear if I could smack some of these people without getting fired my hands would stay sore.
I got one I work with. Always maintain a good escape route when he asks for assistance. An I’m sure you learned long ago an extra set of duds in the truck is mandatory never know when you’ll get a bath.
