I just paid too much to have ACE deliver pellets, turns out it's a 60 bag pallet instead of 50,. It actually turned out well, they unload by hand so it's already in our mud porch and my husbands back happens to be out again. Too bad their truck can only carry 1 pallet/trip, I would have bought 2 or 3 tons.

Interesting, the plant is out of bags so they are bagging under a different label. I wonder if bags are out because they can't get resin for ink from China? (atleast that is happening with metal roofing).

I've seen that unloading by hand. That's brutal on a delivery person.

Hi all- I just bought 1 ton Matra and 1.1 ton Logik Softwood from Robbins. Prices went up from their May specials. Matra 350 and Logik 355.50. Plus an extra 10 bucks gas surcharge. I figured I run a lot of dino, and have a good amount left but get a couple tons dropped into the third garage just to be safe. She said prices will be shooiting up like crazy.

In "The Pellet Bag", I created a new thread to share information about pellet purchases, locations, and
prices you paid. We might as well have one thread for purchase information over 2022 and 2023, because
this will be a popular thread. Mr. Takeman can thank me me for creating the new topic-focused thread.

Little stove got the final cleaning of the season last weekend. Damprid treatment done also. OAK intakes are blocked off to keep moisture out. Hope all you pellet heads are doing great!

    Rained all day...again yesterday

We ran the big stove on low all day and finally shut it down at 11pm before bed.
We have never run the big stove in June.....

It is 69F in the house this morning at 4 am

More rain today....T storms possible later today.....61" of rain since October 1st (Water year begins)
BEEN A WET SPRING......I still have a ton of grass to get mowed around the house.....

On and off rain forecast for the coming week/weekend too.

Strange...Must be that pesty global dampening....???

485 for a ton of Matra? Wow. Yeah I get them delivered and dropped right into the garage. WIfe now understands why I wanted a 3.5 car garage. :D

No Matra out here, they are Rocky Mountain Pellets. PS, there is a $180 delivery fee in there. I would have 3 tons extra too if I could.
