Whoops...

one of my customers- landscape firm- all the batteries and converters from equip stolen at one shot. fenced yard, cut through fence and helped themselves. more than a 100k in damages/repair not to mention lost time, security cams but footage not much help

 

As we were going out for dinner last night, Miz Carol noticed an unauthorized mechanic checking out the brakes and rotors on the right front tire. He didn't know the car has less than 1200 miles on it...

 

Didn't realize that Hyundai made a "cobra" model...

 

Nope rope!

That little car will scat...had it to a Franklin and a nickel once...she was holding both "oh crap" bars...

 

She was so scared it was gonna get inside the car....
I was just at her...
She saw a mouse inside our '18 Elantra, I told her the black snake was in mouse patrol....

 

I had a big limb on the ground yesterday that curved upwards. I was putting small limbs on the fire. When I was backing up, it came up above the counterweight and I heard a crunch...
So days...
Looks like I need to place an order with Messicks...

 

Piece of red tape, piece of yellow tape, wait till you’re done jobs at the end of the summer and fix it all at one time

 

One of the other mechanics, a fella that calls himself “the doctor” just put diesel in a gas rig.

he should stick to fixing sandwiches.

 

I felt good enough to fix one of the whoops on the tractor today.
The poor step has been stepped on by a fat kid...since 2007, and been bent from various limbs hitting it.
Ordered a new one when we got the oil, filters and new fan belt.
This time, we added a piece of angle iron underneath for more support.
Got it bolted on. Really want to build a heavier frame around it.

A while back I was asked to quote a replacement rack and hydraulic system, this was what I had to go on. Had to argue to even get this in for a day to check it out. Other than the idea of what it was and how it worked, no real helpful information came from it. In its pre-burnt down days it had a hydraulic rack and roller system to dispense cured in place pipe from totes inside the truck out to the worksite. Apparently the reefer unit had started the fire on this one

 

Looks like they need to call the scrap yard.

 

We got the other whoops fixed on the tractor this morning.

 

Had to visit a plant yesterday, Big Whoops on Friday!

 

Dust explosion?

 

We have an NDA, so I can't say much...But your guess is good. Not sure what the answer is , but the dryer that exploded had blast doors that were launched hundreds of yards, so we believe some kind of gas, possibly methane was ignited. Way more pressure than the dryer and its blast doors were designed to take.

Luckily the plant was not in operation and there were no injuries!

 

Holy bleep! every piece of tin on that thing it gone!
